Blind flange X DN300, PN16, for water, GJS-ductile iron 47.240.300
Blind flange – a solid solution for plumbing installations
Blind flange X DN300, PN16 is a connecting element made of ductile iron, designed to effectively close the ends of pipes in plumbing installations. It is suitable for both drinking water systems and installations transporting other chemically inert liquids. Its construction and material guarantee reliability and long-term operation.
Material and construction – a guarantee of durability
Made of ductile iron EN-GJS 500-7 (according to PN-EN 1563 standard), this flange is characterized by high resistance to pressure and corrosion. Ductile iron is a material commonly used in hydraulic elements due to its mechanical and chemical resistance. In addition, the flange is coated with epoxy powder paint, providing a coating with a thickness of at least 250µm in RAL 5005 color. This coating protects against external factors and extends the life of the element.
Application and compliance with standards
Blind flange X DN300, PN16 is primarily used in:
- Closing the ends of pipelines during assembly or repair.
- Plumbing installations where high pressure resistance is required.
- Drinking water systems – the materials used in production are approved for contact with water intended for consumption.
- Installations transporting chemically inert liquids.
The flange design complies with the connection dimensions of flanges specified in PN-EN 1092-2 standard, ensuring compatibility with other installation elements. The ability to operate at PN16 pressure (16 bar) makes it suitable for applications requiring increased strength.
