The underground external hydrant HP6 DN80 is a key element of water supply and fire protection infrastructure. It provides reliable access to water in emergency situations and during maintenance work. Made of durable spheroidal graphite cast iron and equipped with a steel column, it guarantees long-lasting and trouble-free operation even in harsh environmental conditions. This model, with an installation depth of 1250 mm, is ideal for installations requiring a discreet location of the water intake point.

Construction and materials – a guarantee of durability

The hydrant body is made of high-quality spheroidal graphite cast iron (EN-GJS 500-7 according to PN-EN 1563), which ensures corrosion resistance and mechanical damage. The steel column further strengthens the structure, protecting the internal elements from loads. All elements are protected against corrosion by a powder coating (epoxy + polyester) with a thickness of 250 μm, which extends the life of the device and minimizes maintenance costs. The stem made of stainless steel, with a rolled trapezoidal thread and bearings, ensures smooth and reliable operation of the opening and closing mechanism.

Functionality and safety of use

The HP6 DN80 hydrant is characterized by a single shut-off, which simplifies operation and maintenance. Automatic drainage after closing prevents water from freezing inside the hydrant, which is particularly important in winter. The ability to replace the seal after closing the shut-off valve without having to disassemble the hydrant significantly facilitates servicing and reduces downtime. The hydrant meets the requirements of PN-EN 14339 TYPE A and has a certificate of conformity. A performance level of 10 dm³/s at a pressure of 0.2 MPa guarantees quick access to an adequate amount of water when needed. Hydrant operating key compliant with PN-63/M-74085 (available separately).
