This underground external hydrant, made of high-quality spheroidal graphite cast iron (GJS) and steel, is a key element of every water supply and fire protection installation. It provides easy access to water in emergency situations and during maintenance work. The hydrant's design is focused on durability and reliability, which translates to a long service life and minimal operating costs.

Construction and materials – a guarantee of strength

The hydrant body is made of spheroidal graphite cast iron (EN-GJS 500-7 according to PN-EN 1563), which ensures high resistance to corrosion and mechanical damage. The steel column further strengthens the structure, and the use of stainless steel in the spindle guarantees smooth and trouble-free operation of the closing mechanism. Spindle sealing with O-rings minimizes the risk of leaks, and the gasket vulcanized over the entire surface ensures the tightness of the valve. The whole is coated with powder paint (epoxy + polyester) resistant to UV radiation, which protects against atmospheric corrosion.

Functionality and safety of use

The hydrant is characterized by a single valve closure, which allows for quick and effective shut-off of the water supply if necessary. Automatic drainage after closing prevents water from freezing inside the hydrant, which is particularly important in winter. The possibility of replacing the seal after closing the shut-off valve facilitates maintenance and extends the life of the device – the entire hydrant does not need to be dismantled! The hydrant meets the requirements of PN-EN 14339 TYPE A and PN-EN 1074-6:2009, which confirms its compliance with European safety and quality standards. The hydrant's capacity is 10 dm³/s at a pressure of 0.2 MPa.
