Bosch GBH 2-28 rotary hammer 0611267500
Power and performance in the 2 kg class
The Professional series rotary hammer is a tool that focuses on high impact energy reaching 3.2 J. This parameter allows for fast drilling in concrete up to 28 mm in diameter and efficient chiseling in hard materials. The 880 W motor ensures that the device does not lose strength even during intensive use. For installers, this means less working time when creating holes for hydraulic or electrical installations, and for end users – efficient finishing work without unnecessary effort. The rotational speed, adjustable from 0 to 900 rpm, provides full control over the drilling process, which is crucial when working with more delicate materials or during precision assembly.
Safety and working comfort
Working with rotary hammers often involves high vibrations and the risk of sudden tool kickback. This model solves these problems thanks to the KickBack Control (KBC) and Vibration Control (VBC) systems. The KBC system detects a jammed drill bit and immediately disconnects the drive, preventing the device from twisting violently in the operator's hands – an important safety feature when drilling in old reinforced concrete. Meanwhile, the active vibration damping system reduces vibration levels by approximately 27% compared to older models, resulting in less hand fatigue during long working sessions. The housing construction with a magnesium gear cover not only increases durability but also helps dissipate heat, extending the device's lifespan by up to 25%.
Application and scope of delivery
The tool is universal and performs well not only in concrete but also in masonry (up to 68 mm with a core bit), wood (up to 30 mm), or metal (up to 13 mm). The SDS-plus chuck allows for quick accessory changes without the use of additional keys, which speeds up work on the construction site. The set includes everything necessary to start working:
- Depth stop (210 mm) – allows for precise drilling of holes for mounting anchors or tubes.
- Auxiliary handle – provides a stable grip and control over the tool under heavy loads.
- Protective cloth – protects the mechanism from dust and dirt.
- L-Case transport case – secures the equipment during transport and facilitates storage.
Thanks to the rotation direction change function (right/left), the device can also be used to unscrew jammed drill bits or tighten screws with the appropriate accessories. The entire unit weighs only 2.9 kg, making it one of the lighter models with such high power in its weight class. The range of applications includes drilling in concrete with hammer drill bits from 4 to 28 mm in diameter and core bits up to 68 mm; similarly, masonry drilling is possible with core bits (up to 68 mm). For softer materials, such as wood or metal, the device handles diameters of up to 30 mm and up to 13 mm, respectively.
