The CarboWrap CW-160 fire-resistant band is a ready-to-use solution for sealing installation passages through walls and ceilings. It is designed for plastic pipes with a diameter of up to 160 mm, providing an effective fire barrier. Its construction based on intumescent graphite inserts enclosed in a PVC layer guarantees high fire resistance, reaching even EI 120 U/C, C/C, C/U. The band finds application in residential, commercial and industrial construction, where meeting stringent fire safety standards is required.

Construction and installation – simplicity and efficiency

CarboWrap CW-160 stands out for its ease of installation. The band is supplied in a dedicated size for a specific pipe diameter, eliminating the need to cut and adjust it. Simply wrap the band around the pipe and secure it with the integrated self-adhesive element. The space between the pipe and the wall or ceiling structure should be filled with insulating material – mineral wool with a density of min. 50 kg/m³ or cement mortar. This makes the installation process quick and does not require specialized tools or skills.

Application and compliance with standards

The CarboWrap CW-160 band finds wide application in securing installation passages in rigid walls (with a thickness of min. 100 mm or 150 mm) and rigid ceilings (with a thickness of min. 150 mm). Compliance with ETA-16/0190 confirms its effectiveness and safety of use. Environmental class Z2 ensures durability and resistance to external factors. Remember to mark the completed passage with the attached label, entering the date and contractor details – this is important for documentation and quality control.
