Fire-resistant wrap CarboWrap CW-55 – effective protection for installation penetrations

The CarboWrap CW-55 fire wrap is a ready-to-use solution designed to secure installation penetrations through walls and ceilings. It provides effective sealing around plastic pipes with a diameter of up to 55 mm, limiting the spread of fire and smoke in the event of a fire. Construction and application

The wrap consists of one or more layers of graphite-based intumescent inserts, surrounded by a protective layer of PVC film or similar material. Thanks to this combination of materials, the wrap provides high fire resistance – up to EI 120 U/C, C/C, C/U – and durability in various environmental conditions (environmental class Z2). Installation is extremely simple: just wrap the wrap around the pipe, and if necessary, cut it to the appropriate length. The space between the pipe and the building structure should be filled with mineral wool or cement mortar for a complete seal.
