Construction and materials – a guarantee of quality

The elbow is made of Cu-DHP copper with a purity of 99.99% deoxidized with phosphorus, in accordance with PN EN 1254 standard. This ensures high mechanical strength and corrosion resistance. The connections are made of the same material – copper, which eliminates the risk of galvanic corrosion. All elements of the >B< Press Gas system are characterized by precision and high quality, confirmed by a 25-year warranty and a technical approval from INiG AT 2016-03-06. Additionally, the O-ring made of HNBR elastomer with PI (Press Indicator) system ensures immediate detection of un-crimped connections during leak testing.

Application and compatibility

The twin socket elbow with a diameter of 54 mm is designed for use with copper pipes in accordance with PN - EN 1057 standard. It can also be used with stainless steel pipes compliant with PN - EN 10312 standard. It is ideal for installations of natural gas, LPG and compressed air. Crimping this diameter requires crimping jaws with profile B (Rems profile V). It is compatible with popular crimping tools such as Rems Power-Press SE, Viega Pressgun Picco/Picco, Conel PM 1 and Novopress AFP101/ACO102. This provides flexibility and convenience during installation.
