Simple bronze coupling connecting soldered joint to gas thread

This component is designed for hydraulic and gas systems requiring a connection between a soldered pipe and a threaded device. The coupling has a straight, 180° configuration — acting as a direct, elbow-free transition. One end is a sleeve for soldering, the other a cylindrical internal gas thread (BSPP-G, ISO 228-1), compatible with standard valves, regulators, and gas connections.

The material is bronze CuSn5Zn5Pb2-C (CC499K-DW), compliant with PN EN 1982. This alloy offers high corrosion resistance and dimensional stability — particularly suitable for installations exposed to moisture or temperature fluctuations. All components in the 4000 series are manufactured in Poland.

The soldered end fits copper pipes with an outer diameter of 42 mm — standard for 1½ inch nominal pipes (40 mm). The internal thread also corresponds to a nominal 1½ inch size, ensuring compatibility with most standard gas and heating system components. No additional seals are required — the BSPP-G thread is designed to self-seal upon tightening.

For the installer: No cutting or expanding tools are needed — simply solder the pipe and tighten the thread with a wrench. For the end user: No risk of gas leaks, as both the material and thread meet safety standards for gas media.
