Brass nipple for soldered and threaded connections

This bronze nipple, designated 4243G, is a reliable solution for connecting copper pipes in water, heating and gas installations. Its design allows for connection of a soldered pipe with an external thread, providing flexibility in design and installation. Made of high-quality bronze CuSn5Zn5Pb2-C (CC499K-DW) according to PN EN 1982, it ensures durability and corrosion resistance.

Construction and application

The nipple combines two connection methods: a socket for soldering and a tapered BSPT-R (ISO 7-1 / EN 10226-1) external thread. This allows for easy and tight connection of a soldered copper pipe with a threaded element. The nominal connection diameter 2 is 3/8 inch (10), and the outer pipe diameter is 15 mm. The nipple is easy to install – simply solder the pipe into the socket and then tighten the threaded element.
