Reducing tee for clamping systems – a seamless connection
The reducing tee 22x18x22 from the B Press series is an element used to connect copper pipes of different diameters in water supply, heating and gas installations. Made of high-quality copper Cu-DHP (CW024A), it ensures durability and corrosion resistance. The use of pressing technology guarantees a tight and safe connection without the need for welding, which significantly speeds up installation and minimizes the risk of errors.
Design and application
This reducing tee, designed for B Press systems, allows you to connect a pipe with a diameter of 22 mm to a pipe with a diameter of 18 mm, and then return to a diameter of 22 mm. Its design with a support collar provides additional connection stability. It is ideal for creating branches in installations where a change in pipe diameter is required. Used both in new installations and during the modernization of existing systems.
Materials and safety
The tee is made of phosphorus-deoxidized copper, which ensures high material purity (99.99%) and corrosion resistance. Seals made of ethylene-propylene-diene monomeric rubber (EDPM) guarantee a tight connection even at high working pressure – up to 16 bar. The materials used have PZH hygiene certificates, which confirms their safety for health and the possibility of use in drinking water installations. In addition, the bronze used in the production of the elements meets the requirements of the PN - EN 1982 standard and has a reduced content of lead and nickel. The PI (Press Indicator) system on the seals indicates whether the connection has been pressed correctly.
