This bronze transition nipple, with dimensions 15 x 1/2 inch, is a reliable solution for connecting components in gas installations. It is part of the B Press Gas system from CONEX BÄNNINGER, known for its precision and compliance with the highest standards.

Solid construction and materials

The nipple is made of bronze CuSn5Zn5Pb2 (CC499K-DW), which guarantees corrosion resistance and long-term operation. This material meets the requirements of PN EN 1982, ensuring high quality and reliability. The use of bronze is a good choice because it provides resistance to the action of gases and variable environmental conditions. Additionally, the O-ring seal made of HNBR (ethylene-propylene-diene monomeric rubber) with PI (Press Indicator) function confirms the correct crimping of the connection – an uncompressed nipple is leaky, which facilitates quality control of the installation.

Easy installation and compatibility

The transition nipple is designed for crimping with jaws with profile B, which significantly speeds up and simplifies installation. It is compatible with copper pipes made in accordance with PN-EN 1057. It has a tapered external thread BSPT-R (ISO 7-1 / EN 10226-1) with a diameter of 1/2 inch and a clamping sleeve with a diameter of 15 mm. Thanks to this, it can be easily connected to other elements of the gas installation. The support collar provides additional connection stability.

Safety and certificates

The product has a maximum working pressure of 5 bar at a temperature of 20°C. It meets the requirements of PN - EN 10226-1 and PN - EN ISO 228-1 regarding threads. Although it does not have FM, UL or ULC certificates, its quality is confirmed by the manufacturer and the materials and production processes used. Technical approvals INiG AT 2016-03-06 are available for the B Press Gas system, which proves its testing and compliance with Polish building regulations.
