Transition fitting for B Press systems

This bronze transition fitting, designed for B Press crimping systems, connects a 35 mm diameter pipe to a 1 inch (25 mm) cylindrical BSPP-G internal gas thread. It is a solid and reliable solution for connecting installation elements, ensuring a tight and durable connection.

Construction and materials

Made of high-quality bronze CuSn5Zn5Pb2 (CC499K-DW) and 99.99% pure, phosphorus-deoxidized copper Cu-DHP, it meets the requirements of PN EN 1254 and PN EN 1982 standards. Bronze provides corrosion resistance and long-term operation, while copper guarantees a high-quality connection. The fitting has a resistance collar that further protects the connection from disconnecting under pressure. The monomeric ethylene-propylene-diene rubber (EDPM) used ensures tightness without the need for additional seals.

Application and operating parameters

The transition fitting is used in water, heating and gas installations. Its simple construction facilitates assembly, and the possibility of crimping ensures a quick and reliable connection. The maximum working pressure is 16 bar at 20°C, and the operating temperature range is from -30°C to +130°C. The bend angle of 180° allows for flexible adaptation to various installation configurations. The length of the fitting is 48 mm.
