Industrial grounding busbar on insulators, without cover, 10 terminals, Cu 472217
Industrial equipotential bonding busbar, made of copper, designed for protection and functional equalization of potentials. It is a key element in lightning protection systems and electrical installations, ensuring the safety of people and equipment. The busbar meets the requirements of DIN EN 62561-1, DIN VDE 0100-410/540 and DIN EN 62305-3 (VDE 0185-305-3), which guarantees its reliability and compliance with applicable regulations.
It is particularly important to use the busbar in potentially explosive atmospheres – a self-locking screw design minimizes the risk of sparking and ensures connection continuity. The construction with UP insulators (thermosetting, red) mounted on M10 threads provides effective insulation and connection durability. Copper construction ensures good electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance.
Construction and application
The busbar has 10 connections terminated with M10 screws, spring washers and stainless steel nuts. This selection of materials guarantees connection stability even under vibration or temperature changes. The dimensions of the busbar (435 x 40 x 5 mm) allow for easy mounting in various installation configurations. The cross-section of 200 mm² allows for the transmission of large currents, and the ability to withstand short-circuit current at the level of 39 kA (AC 50 Hz / DC) provides protection against overvoltage effects.
The busbar is ideal for equalizing potentials in industrial buildings, production halls and public facilities.
It can be used as a main equipotential bonding connection in accordance with DIN VDE 0100 part 410/540 and for lightning potential equalization in accordance with PN-EN 62305.
Thanks to its UV resistance, the busbar can be used both indoors and outdoors.
The use of spring washers minimizes the risk of loosening connections during operation, which translates into long-term system reliability.
The material of the UP insulators is characterized by high mechanical strength and chemical resistance, ensuring safe use in harsh environmental conditions.
