Industrial equipotential bonding busbar – safety and reliability in every circuit
This industrial equipotential bonding busbar is a key element in ensuring the safety and proper operation of electrical installations. Compliant with DIN EN 62561-1, it is designed for equalizing protective and functional potentials according to DIN VDE 0100-410/540, as well as for potential equalization during atmospheric discharge (lightning) according to DIN EN 62305-3 (VDE 0185-305-3). This solution is ideal for installers and end-users who value a high level of safety and compliance with applicable regulations.
The busbar is made of copper (Cu), which guarantees excellent electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance. Installation is facilitated by UP insulators (thermosetting, red) with an M10 thread, which are UV-resistant and halogen-free. The busbar design is intended for use even in potentially explosive atmospheres – it features protection against self-loosening of screws. Equipped with 8 connections terminated with M10 screws, spring washers, and nuts, it provides solid and durable connections.
- Versatile application: ideal for equalizing potentials in industrial installations, public buildings, and facilities exposed to lightning strikes.
- Safety: compliance with DIN EN 62561-1, DIN VDE 0100-410/540, and DIN EN 62305-3 standards guarantees a high level of protection.
- Durability: made of copper and stainless steel components ensures corrosion resistance and long-term reliability.
- Resistance: UP insulators are UV-resistant and halogen-free, increasing their durability and safety.
- Universality: can be used in potentially explosive atmospheres thanks to the protection against self-loosening of screws.
- Practical installation: 8 M10 connections with spring washers and nuts facilitate quick and secure installation.
The busbar has a cross-section of 200 mm² and is capable of withstanding a short-circuit current of up to 39 kA (AC 50 Hz / DC), making it a reliable element in surge protection systems. The dimensions of the busbar are 365 x 40 x 5 mm. The M10 x 25 mm screws are made of stainless steel, which further increases their durability and corrosion resistance. The use of spring washers ensures a stable connection even under vibration conditions.
