The DIGITUS Cat.5e U/UTP cable features an unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP) construction, which reduces costs while maintaining good transmission quality in typical applications. Made with copper conductors with a cross-section of AWG 24/1, it has 8 conductors arranged in pairs, ensuring compatibility with most network devices. The conductor insulation made of polyethylene (PE) guarantees good flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage. In addition, the outer jacket made of PE protects the cable from the effects of UV radiation and weather conditions, extending its service life during outdoor use. Fire reaction class Fca provides additional safety in the event of a fire.
