Dry drilling in difficult conditions

Installation work requiring the creation of holes for cables and pipes in walls often takes place in locations where the use of water is inconvenient or impossible - for example, in occupied rooms, near existing electrical installations, or outdoors. The RM-TX diamond core drill bit has been designed for dry mode operation, eliminating the need to connect a cooling system and allowing for a quick transition to the core task without unnecessary preparation.

Reinforced concrete is a tough material that offers resistance - especially when rebar runs near the planned hole. The RM-TX drill bit handles this challenge thanks to its design adapted for micro-impact work on handheld drilling machines.

Diamond segment technology

The working segments contain diamonds with an ordered arrangement - each crystal works in a direction optimal for its geometry. This solution allows for more efficient material crushing than standard segments with chaotically distributed diamond grains.

The turbo-type segment shape increases the contact surface with the processed material and accelerates debris removal. Combined with a high-performance bonding matrix, this provides a stable drilling speed throughout the tool's working cycle.

The connection between the segments and the body is made using laser welding - this ensures the durability of the connection even during intensive use and impact-based operation.

Shank and compatibility

The drill bit is equipped with a 1¼" UNC shank, fitting most handheld diamond drilling machines available on the market. The tool is intended for use on handheld drilling machines with micro-impact, without the need for any cooling system.

Applications and diameter selection

The working diameter of 62 mm allows for the routing of electrical cables, water and sewage pipes, or ventilation elements. The drill bit performs well in both unreinforced and reinforced concrete - steel bars do not pose a barrier to the diamond core.

The RM-TX series includes diameters from 42 to 152 mm, so if a project requires a different hole size, there is the possibility to select the appropriate core from the same tool family - which facilitates the standardization of the installation crew's equipment.
