Diamond core drill bit RM-TX 132x450-10x1 1/4 UNC 10170429035
High drilling speed in reinforced concrete - without water cooling
The RM-TX diamond core drill with a diameter of 132 mm and a length of 450 mm is a tool designed for fast drilling of holes in heavy construction materials in dry mode. It is ideal anywhere where water cooling is impossible or undesirable - for example, in enclosed spaces, during finishing works, or in facilities where moisture cannot be tolerated.
Oriented diamond technology and segment design
The diamond segments of the drill are manufactured using oriented diamond technology, meaning the crystals are arranged optimally relative to the direction of work. Combined with a turbo segment shape and an efficient metallic bond, this ensures effective and fast drilling even in heavily reinforced concrete. The segment shaping also supports efficient removal of cuttings and dust, which maintains a constant working speed throughout the drilling cycle.
The 1¼ inch (UNC) connection guarantees stable mounting in the drill spindle. The manufacturer recommends using bronze or copper spacer rings - these facilitate the trouble-free removal of the drill after completing the work.
Application and tool compatibility
The RM-TX drill is designed for use with handheld drills equipped with micro-impact (so-called microblow). It can also be used with stationary drilling rigs. The work is performed dry - dust is removed using an industrial vacuum cleaner connected to the extraction system.
Practical note: if the drilling speed drops significantly, temporarily turn off the vacuum cleaner and continue drilling for a few seconds without dust extraction. The fine cuttings will act like an abrasive paste - the segments will sharpen, and the speed will return to normal.
Operating parameters and range of available sizes
The RM-TX series includes a wide range of diameters - from 32 mm to even 300 mm - allowing the tool to be selected for a specific application: holes for electrical cables, plumbing pipes, ventilation ducts, or other installations passing through walls and ceilings. Two available working lengths (300 mm and 450 mm) further expand the possibilities for selecting the tool based on the thickness of the intended partition.
