Overcurrent circuit breaker FAZ-C4/1N is a compact device designed to protect electrical installations against overloads and short circuits. It is a key element ensuring safety in every electrical circuit, both in residential and commercial buildings.

This circuit breaker, with a rated current of 4A and a voltage of 230V, is characterized by a high short-circuit breaking capacity – up to 15 kA according to IEC 60947-2. This means that in the event of a dangerous short-circuit current, the circuit breaker will quickly and effectively disconnect the circuit, minimizing the risk of damage and fire. Characteristic C provides delayed tripping with short-term overloads, which is particularly important for devices with motors or other elements generating high starting current. This avoids unnecessary tripping of the circuit during normal operation.

The FAZ-C4/1N circuit breaker has one protected pole and an additional neutral pole (N), which increases its functionality and allows for the protection of the entire circuit. A width of 2 modules makes it easy to install in standard electrical distribution boards. The use of high-quality materials guarantees long-lasting and trouble-free operation even in difficult conditions – the ambient operating temperature is from -25 to 75°C.

Installation and compatibility

The installation of the circuit breaker is simple and intuitive, and the possibility of connecting wires with a cross-section from 1 to 25 mm² (solid or stranded) ensures compatibility with various types of installations. The degree of protection IP20 protects against finger contact and the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5 mm. Additionally, the possibility of using additional accessories allows you to adapt the circuit breaker to individual installation needs. The circuit breaker meets the requirements of overvoltage category III and pollution degree 2, which confirms its versatility and safety of use.
