FAZ series circuit breakers – reliable installation protection
The FAZ-Z1/1 circuit breaker is a compact and efficient device designed to protect electrical circuits against overloads and short circuits. Its construction, based on proven Eaton technology, guarantees reliable operation and long service life. It is an ideal solution for both home and commercial installations where high efficiency and safety are required.
Characteristics and application
This circuit breaker is characterized by a rated current of 1A and a Z tripping characteristic, which means it reacts with a delay to short-term current surges. This makes it perfect for circuits with loads generating inrush currents during start-up, such as motors or transformers. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity of 10kA (at 230V and 400V) provides effective protection against the effects of serious failures. The device is designed to operate in AC networks with a voltage of 230V and a frequency of 50-60Hz.
Construction and mounting
The FAZ-Z1/1 circuit breaker occupies one module width, allowing for efficient use of space in the distribution board. Mounting is done on a TH35 rail (standard mounting rail). The cross-section of the connected conductors can range from 1 to 25 mm², both solid and stranded, providing great flexibility during installation. The IP20 degree of protection provides protection against accidental contact, but does not protect against the effects of moisture - the device is intended for use in dry rooms. Power losses are 3.6W. Additionally, the circuit breaker has energy limitation class 3 and surge category III, which confirms its high resistance to interference.
