This three-pole transformer protective switch, from the PKZM0-0.63-T series, is a robust solution for electrical installations requiring reliable protection. Designed in accordance with IEC/EN60947, it provides effective protection against overload and short circuit, as well as protection against phase failure. Its versatility makes it ideal for both professional installers and end users.

This switch is characterized by an adjustable overload release in the range of 0.4-0.63A and a short-circuit release set to 12A. The rated continuous current of 0.63A makes it particularly well suited for protecting transformers of appropriate power. Mounting on a TH rail is quick and easy, and the ability to mount on a DIN TH rail further increases installation flexibility.

Construction and functionality for demanding applications

The PKZM0-0.63-T switch has been designed with durability and reliability in mind. Its fixed mounting construction guarantees stable operation in various environmental conditions. Screw terminals ensure a secure connection of wires, and the tripping indicator facilitates identification of the cause of the protection operation. The housing with a degree of protection IP20 protects against contact and ensures safe use in accordance with VDE 0106 part 100.

It is worth noting the high short-circuit breaking capacity (150 kA at 400V, 50Hz), which guarantees effective protection of the installation even in the event of serious failures. Additionally, the possibility of expanding with auxiliary contacts (NHI-E/NHI) and remote voltage releases (A-PKZ0/U-PKZ0) allows you to adapt the switch to the specific needs of a given application. Power losses of 4.71W minimize the impact on the energy efficiency of the system.
