Encoder M22-XC-R 216406
Encoding element for RMQ-Titan systems
The M22-XC-R encoding element is an accessory dedicated to the Eaton RMQ-Titan control and signaling devices. It is used to change the functionality of key switches, allowing switching between self-resetting and non-self-resetting operation, as well as controlling key removal. This is a small but important element in the configuration of control and signaling systems.
Functionality and application
This encoding element allows for flexible adjustment of the operation of key switches in the RMQ 22.3mm system. It enables changing the operating mode of the button – from self-resetting (returns to the initial position after release) to non-self-resetting (position is maintained until pressed again). Additionally, it allows configuration of key removal, which increases security and access control. This is particularly useful in industrial applications where precise control over access to critical functions is required.
Durability and resistance in industrial conditions
The RMQ-Titan devices, in which this encoding element is used, are characterized by a high level of protection – IP67 and IP69K. This means resistance to dust and water ingress, making them ideal for use in harsh industrial environments. In addition, the LEDs in this series have a long service life – up to 100,000 hours of continuous operation. Laser-engraved inscriptions are abrasion-resistant, and the entire construction provides high mechanical and electrical durability.
Installation and compatibility
The M22-XC-R encoding element is designed for mounting in key switches of the RMQ 22.3mm system. It should be noted that it is not compatible with key switches equipped with master key systems. Its small dimensions (11x16x19 mm) and low weight (0.002 kg) facilitate installation and integration with existing control systems.
