Isolator – safety and reliability in one module

The IS-100/1 main isolating switch is a modular device designed for safely disconnecting electrical circuits. It provides effective insulation and protection against overload, and its compact size (1 module wide) makes it easy to install in distribution boards. The design of this switch is focused on durability and reliability, which translates to a long service life and minimizes the risk of failure.

Functionality and parameters

The device is intended for operation in alternating current (AC) circuits with a rated voltage of 240V and a rated current of 100A. It has a protection degree of IP40, which means protection against the ingress of solid objects larger than 1mm. The rated switching capacity is 10kA, and the short-circuit strength is 2kA, which guarantees safety even in the event of a short circuit. Equipped with a single pole, the switch has both normally open and normally closed contacts, providing full control over the circuit. Additionally, the presence of an “arrow” symbol on the knob facilitates visual identification of the device status – on or off.

Installation and application

The IS-100/1 switch is mounted on a standard TS35 mm rail. The cross-section of the connection cables can be up to 50mm², which allows connection of a wide range of cables of different thicknesses. The device finds application in electrical installations of residential, commercial and industrial buildings, where reliable disconnection of electrical circuits is required during maintenance or repair. High contact wear resistance and jump switching ensure long-term and trouble-free operation even with frequent switching.
