This Eaton IS-63/1 isolating switch is a key element of any electrical installation, providing safe and reliable disconnection of circuits. In addition, a wide range of connection wires (up to 50 mm²) provides flexibility during installation. The rated current of 63 A is suitable for protecting most circuits in residential and commercial buildings, and the rated voltage of 240 V corresponds to the standard mains voltage. Short-circuit strength at 1 kA provides protection against the effects of short circuits, and high switching capacity of 12.5 kA guarantees the safety of the installation. The IP40 degree of protection protects against the ingress of solid objects larger than 1 mm. The contact position indicator allows for quick visual control of the switch status (ON/OFF), and a clear "arrow" symbol makes it easy to identify the switch function.

Construction and application

The IS-63/1 switch is a single-pole isolating switch with a snap-action function, which translates to smooth and reliable operation. The lack of a signal lamp does not affect its functionality, and the minimalist design makes it integrate perfectly with other elements of the switchboard. Its main task is to permanently disconnect the electrical circuit during service or emergency work, ensuring the safety of installers and end users.
