The HIS-80/4 main switch is a reliable device designed for the safe disconnection of electrical circuits in industrial and commercial installations. Design and technical parameters

The device operates at a rated voltage of 415V AC and a current of 80A, making it suitable for most standard three-phase installations. A rated breaking capacity of 12.5 kA guarantees safe interruption even of significant short-circuit currents, while a short-time withstand current of 2 kA ensures resistance to fault currents.

The device width is 4 modules on a standard DIN rail, and the mounting depth is 69.5 mm, allowing for compact installation in modular distribution boards. The design provides an IP40 protection rating, protecting against finger access and access by wires with a diameter greater than 1mm.

Connection system and operational safety

The switch is equipped with robust screw terminals suitable for conductors with a cross-section up to 50mm², enabling the connection of thick cables used in high-power installations. A high continuous current up to 125A allows for operation with loads greater than the rated current for a specified time.

Operational safety is ensured by the possibility of locking the device with a padlock in the switched-off (OFF) position, which prevents accidental switching during service or maintenance work. An arrow symbol printed on the front clearly indicates the direction of the device's state switching.
