Compact isolator switch for modular distribution boards

The HIS-20/1 main switch is a device designed for the safe disconnection of electrical circuits in single-phase installations. Thanks to its single-module width, it is ideal for modern residential and commercial distribution boards where mounting space is limited.

Construction and operating parameters

The device operates at a voltage of 240V and a current of 20A, ensuring reliable disconnection of high-power circuits. A short-circuit strength of 1 kA protects the installation from the effects of faults.

The compact design with a depth of 69.5 mm allows for mounting even in shallow distribution boards. The IP40 protection rating provides basic protection against contact with live parts and access to solid objects larger than 1mm.

Safety and functionality

A key feature is the padlock lockout capability, which prevents accidental switching during service or maintenance work. The arrow symbol on the front panel clearly indicates the ON/OFF position, making it easy to identify the device's status.

Durable 50mm² wire terminals allow for the connection of thick power cables without the risk of connection overheating. A high continuous current of up to 125A guarantees stable operation even under long-term load.

Application and mounting

The switch is suitable as a disconnection element in residential, office, and small commercial distribution boards. The single-pole design allows for precise control of individual lighting or socket circuits.

Mounting on a standard DIN rail enables quick installation in existing distribution systems.
