Professional distribution board module for electrical installations

The BPZ-KB-8/125 modular distribution bar block is an advanced solution from Eaton's xEnergy Basic series, designed for professional installation in low-voltage distribution boards. The four-pole design with a rated current of 125A ensures reliable connections in industrial and commercial installations.

Construction and technical parameters

The compact housing with dimensions of 98×49×74,5mm is made of high-quality materials - polycarbonate (PC) and polyamide (PA66), which guarantees mechanical and thermal resistance up to a temperature of 100°C. The materials have a UL94 V-0 flammability rating for PA66 and V-2 for PC, ensuring user safety.

The block is equipped with 18 terminal positions per pole, allowing for flexible electrical installation routing. The brass terminals accommodate conductors with a cross-section of 1,5-35mm², including both rigid (single-wire/multi-wire) and flexible wires with ferrule ends. The tightening torque is 1,5Nm for input connections and 0,8/1,5Nm for output connections.

Electrical parameters include a rated voltage of up to 690V AC/DC, a peak short-circuit current of 24kA, and a short-time current of 4,2kA. The IP20 protection rating protects against contact with live parts.

Mounting flexibility and compatibility

The design allows for universal mounting - surface-mounted, flush-mounted, or in floor-standing distribution boards up to 630A. The system is compatible with distribution boards with IP30 and IP54 protection ratings and protection class I.

The module is designed to work with Profi+ four-pole distribution bars, offering the possibility of connecting distribution boards both in series and vertically. The color scheme includes a light gray housing RAL7035 and a blue cover for easy identification in the installation.

Regulatory compliance and safety

The device meets the requirements of the IEC 60 947-7-1 standard and complies with the RoHS directive regarding the restriction of hazardous substances. The Comparative Tracking Index (CTI) is 600V, ensuring resistance to electrical tracking.

The module serves as additional equipment for Eaton xEnergy Basic low-voltage power systems, guaranteeing professional connection quality in demanding industrial applications and general construction.
