Modular busbar block BPZ-KB-4/80 289969
Modular distribution block – reliable power distribution
This modular distribution block BPZ-KB-4/80 is a key element of any electrical installation, providing safe and efficient power distribution. Designed for mounting in distribution boards, it allows for convenient and organized connection of wires. Its compact dimensions (width 27 mm, height 65.5 mm, depth 46.8 mm) allow for optimal use of space in the switchgear cabinet.
Design and application
This block is single-pole and designed to operate with a rated current of up to 80A. It has seven terminals per pole, providing great flexibility in connecting wires with a cross-section from 2.5 to 16 mm². It can be used with both rigid and flexible wires with crimp ferrules. Made of high-quality materials (PA66 housing, brass terminals), it guarantees durability and reliable operation. The strip is used in building, industrial installations and automation systems.
Advantages and benefits
- High permissible current value: 80A allows for safe circuit loading.
- Versatility: Possibility to connect rigid and flexible wires with a cross-section of 2.5 - 16 mm².
- Compact dimensions: Allow mounting in tight spaces.
- Durable construction: Made of high-quality materials ensuring long life.
- Safety: Compliance with IEC 60947-7-1 and UL 1059 standards confirms safe use.
- Easy installation: Designed for mounting on a rail or directly in the distribution box (floor, surface or built-in mounting).
- Resistance to external factors: IP20 protection class provides protection against accidental contact and the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5 mm.
- Temperature resistance: Resistant to temperatures up to 100°C.
Additional information: the block does not have N or PE busbars – it is a dedicated distribution strip for a single circuit. The material of the terminals (brass) ensures a secure electrical connection and corrosion resistance. The tightening torque of the terminal screws is from 1.5 Nm to 3 Nm for incoming wires and from 0.8 Nm to 3 Nm for outgoing wires – precise tightening guarantees a correct connection and minimizes the risk of overheating connections.
