Auxiliary contact module – expanding the functionality of contactors

This auxiliary contact module, designed for side mounting, expands the capabilities of Eaton DILM series contactors. It allows adding additional auxiliary contacts to control and signaling circuits, increasing the flexibility and functionality of the installation. This is particularly useful in applications requiring precise monitoring of the device status or remote control.

This module is compatible with DILM contactors from 7A to 38A, making it a universal solution for a wide range of applications. Mounting is from above, which simplifies and speeds up installation. Made of high-quality materials, it ensures reliable operation even in harsh industrial conditions.

Characteristics and application

The DILM1000-XHI11-SA module is equipped with one normally open contact (1NO) and one normally closed contact (1NC), allowing for the implementation of various auxiliary functions. Screw connection ensures secure and durable electrical connections. The auxiliary contact is mounted on the side of the contactor, allowing for optimal use of space in the control cabinet.

Thanks to this module it is possible to:

• Control auxiliary circuits: starting signaling devices, relays or other devices.
• Contactor status signaling: informing about the switching on or off of the main circuit.
• Implementation of safety interlocks: ensuring safe operation of the installation by disconnecting circuits in the event of a failure.

Additionally, these modules are compatible with PKZM0 motor starters via the PKZM0-XDM12 connector, simplifying integration and reducing installation costs. Built-in overvoltage protection in all contactors with DC coil increases system safety and reliability.
