Construction and functionality

The SPCT2-280-1+NPE surge protector, mounted on a DIN TH-35 mm mounting rail, is characterized by a compact design (2 modules) and easy installation. It has an optical status indicator that informs about the need for cartridge replacement – red color indicates damage, and green – correct operation. The maximum discharge current (8/20) is 40 kA, and the rated discharge current - peak value (8/20) is 20 kA. The device is adapted to work in TN, IT, TT and TN-S network systems. It provides a protection level of 1.4 kV and has a protection degree of IP20. The maximum cross-section of the flexible wire is 35 mm², and of the single-/multi-strand wire – 25 mm². The surge protector has optical indication of operation.
