This allows you to effectively control the power consumption of devices such as electric water heaters, underfloor heating or heaters. The thermal release allows for precise setting of the current value, corresponding to the connected power of a given receiver – changing the power does not require replacing the switch, just adjusting the release. The contact position indicator informs about the current position of the device (on/off), and the ability to seal the knob protects against unauthorized changes to the settings.

Construction and characteristics

The Z-TS40/3 switch is characterized by a compact design (width 54mm, height 75mm, depth 80mm) and solid construction. It has screw connections for the main conductors and a degree of protection of IP20, which ensures safe use in standard environmental conditions. The tripping method – magnetic – guarantees a quick reaction in the event of a short circuit. The device is complete and ready for mounting in an Eaton modular housing, which facilitates integration with the existing electrical installation. Power losses are 12.7W.
