Three-phase busbar block for motor protection systems
The B3.1/4-PKZ0 three-phase busbar block is a professional power system component designed for the parallel powering of four PKZM0 series or PKE12/PKE32 motor circuit breakers. The device enables fast and secure connection of protective devices, eliminating the need for individual wiring of each circuit breaker.
Construction and electrical parameters
The power busbar is manufactured as a three-pole busbar with a length of 207 mm, which ensures uniform current distribution across all four device positions. The design occupies 11.5 modules of width on a standard DIN rail, allowing for compact space utilization in large control cabinets.
The device's electrical parameters guarantee high performance: rated continuous current Iu = 63 A and maximum operating voltage Ue = 690 V. The rated impulse withstand voltage is 6 kV, ensuring surge immunity in industrial installations. The connections are made using fork terminal technology, allowing for a secure and durable connection of conductors with various cross-sections.
Safety and functionality
A key design feature is the touch-safe protection, which protects operating personnel from electric shock during installation and maintenance work. The busbar is fully insulated, which further increases the safety level of the installation.
The device can be expanded through rotary installation, enabling the creation of larger power systems without the need for additional intermediate elements. The design is intended for mounting on the same DIN rail as the PKZM0 or PKE devices, ensuring ideal system compatibility.
Application and compatibility
The B3.1/4-PKZ0 busbar block is used in professional industrial automation systems where parallel powering of multiple loads from a single connection point is required. It is particularly effective in large control cabinets, where it reduces installation time and eliminates wire clutter.
Compatibility includes PKZM0 and PKE12/PKE32 series circuit breakers, provided that the devices are mounted without auxiliary contacts and neutral conductor. The standard axis pitch is 54 mm, which corresponds to typical installation requirements in industrial automation.
The device meets the requirements of international standards UL 508, CSA-C22.2 No. 14, and IEC60947-4-1, holding appropriate CE certificates for the European market and CSA for the North American market.
