Overcurrent circuit breaker 15 kA, In=6 A, characteristic C, 2-pole FAZ-C6/2-NA 102164
Overcurrent circuit breaker – reliable protection for electrical installations.
This two-pole circuit breaker from Eaton's FAZ-C6/2-NA series is a key element ensuring safety in every electrical installation. Designed to protect circuits from the effects of overloads and short circuits, it will work well in both domestic, commercial and industrial applications. Its compact size (2 modules wide) makes it easy to mount in standard distribution boards on DIN rails.
Characteristics and operating parameters
The circuit breaker is characterized by a rated current of 6A and a C characteristic, which means that it is particularly well suited for protecting circuits with receivers generating inrush currents during start-up – for example, electric motors. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity of 15 kA (at 230/400 V) guarantees an effective response in emergency situations, minimizing the risk of damage and fires. The device operates in the range of AC voltages of 415 V and frequencies of 50-60 Hz, and its insulation withstands voltages up to 440 V. The IP20 degree of protection indicates protection against finger contact, but mounting in closed distribution boards is recommended for full protection against external factors.
Installation and application – for professionals and end users
Installing the circuit breaker is simple and intuitive – just place it on the DIN rail. It supports single- and multi-core wires with a cross-section from 1 to 25 mm². Thanks to the possibility of expansion with additional equipment, it can be adapted to the specific needs of the installation. This circuit breaker is used wherever reliable protection against overloads and short circuits is required, e.g. in lighting circuits, socket circuits or powering electrical appliances. Energy limitation class 3 and high short-circuit capacity allow operation in demanding conditions. It should be remembered that the device does not have a simultaneously disconnecting N pole and is not intended for potentially explosive environments or concealed mounting.
