Cable with rubber insulation H05RR-F (OW) 5G1.5 H05RR-F-5G1,5 OW
Universal rubber-insulated cable for demanding applications
This flexible, multi-core H05RR-F (OW) 5G1.5 cable is a reliable solution for both professionals and home users. Designed for powering mobile and portable devices, it offers high resistance to mechanical damage and atmospheric influences. Ideal for construction sites, workshops, gardens, and household applications.
This cable is particularly recommended for applications requiring flexibility and resilience under harsh operating conditions. Thanks to its rubber insulation and sheath, it retains its properties even at low temperatures—remaining flexible in freezing conditions. Made of copper, it ensures low resistance and minimal energy losses. An excellent choice as a base for extension cords and connecting cables.
Construction and properties
The cable features a robust construction based on Class 5 stranded copper conductors. The cores are insulated with ethylene-propylene rubber (EPR) and covered with a durable EPR rubber sheath. This design ensures not only flexibility but also high resistance to abrasion, moisture, and oils (though not fully oil-resistant according to IEC 60811-404). The outer sheath color is black, facilitating easy identification.
The use of copper conductors guarantees efficient current conduction at a cross-section of 1.5 mm². The cable has five cores marked in accordance with PN-HD 308 S2: yellow-green (PE), brown (L), black (L), gray (L), and blue (N). The approximate outer diameter is 10.8 mm, and the minimum bending radius for fixed installations is 32.4 mm. Rated voltage U/U0 is 500/300 V.
Applications and compliance with standards
The H05RR-F (OW) 5G1.5 cable is widely used for:
- Powering electric tools and power tools
- Manufacturing extension cords and connecting cables
- Temporary installations on construction sites
- Powering garden equipment
- Household applications requiring a flexible power cable
The cable is manufactured in accordance with PN-EN 50525-2-21 and PN-EN 60228:2007 for stranded copper conductors, and PN-HD 308 S2:2007 for core color coding. Fire reaction class according to EN 13501-6 is Eca. Maximum allowable operating temperature for conductors is 60°C, and minimum installation ambient temperature is -25°C.
