Installation cable for wide application

H07V-K (LGY) cable with a cross-section of 35 mm² is a flexible solution for transmitting electrical energy. Made of copper with PVC insulation, it is designed for fixed installations in dry indoor environments as well as areas exposed to vibrations. Its construction allows for repeated bending during installation, making it an ideal choice for both professionals and end users. It is suitable for use in protective earthing and lightning protection systems, as well as in equipotential bonding connections.

Construction and properties

The cable features a flexible, multi-wire copper conductor of class 5, ensuring excellent flexibility and ease of installation. The PVC insulation provides resistance to mechanical damage and external factors. The yellow-green color clearly identifies the cable as designated for grounding (protective earth conductor PE). The rated voltage of 450/750 V enables its use in a variety of electrical installations. The approximate outer diameter is 9.8 mm, and the permissible operating temperature ranges from -40°C to +70°C.

Application and installation

The H07V-K (LGY) cable is used in professional power systems and building construction. It is particularly recommended for installing main earthing conductors (GSU), connecting foundation earth electrodes to the main distribution board, and in internal building lightning protection systems. Due to its large cross-section and flexible conductor, installation requires specialized tools — heavy-duty crimp sleeves or lugs and a hydraulic crimping tool, ensuring safe and durable connections. The minimum bending radius for fixed installations is 49 mm.
