This UTP RJ45 category 5e socket, in blue, is a component designed for building structured cabling systems. It is suitable for both installations performed by professionals and home computer networks. Its versatility stems from the possibility of mounting in various keystone-type adapters with standard dimensions (16.10x14.50 mm) – from electrical equipment frames, through modular panels, to 45x45 mm sockets.

Construction and application

The socket uses an LSA connection, requiring specialized tools for crimping wires. It is compatible with both round and rigid (stranded) cables with a range of AWG 24-26. It is not intended for flat cables. It has an IDC connector cover and clear marking of the 568A/B connection sequence, which facilitates correct installation and minimizes the risk of errors. This ensures that the installation runs smoothly and without problems.
