Flush-mounted empty distribution box – a solid solution for your installation

This empty flush-mounted distribution box from the SOLID GSX series is a reliable element of any electrical installation. Made of steel, it provides durable protection and safe placement of equipment. Ideal for both professional installers and end-users, it offers flexibility in configuration and easy installation.

Construction and application

The distribution box is designed for flush mounting inside rooms. Its gray housing (RAL 7035) made of powder-coated steel is characterized by high resistance to mechanical damage (IK10) and ensures safe use. Protection class I guarantees adequate insulation, and the IP42 degree of protection prevents access to hazardous parts and the ingress of solid objects. The tightness can be increased to IP44 by using an additional gasket (available separately), allowing the distribution box to be adapted to specific working conditions.

The distribution box offers space for 72 modules, arranged in three rows of 24 modules each. This allows you to effectively collect and protect electrical installation elements. The box has knockouts to facilitate cutting holes for wires and cables, and mounting holes allow for stable mounting in the recess using expansion bolts or mounting foam. Removable mounting inserts make it easier to install and remove equipment and wiring.

• Patented lock: The door is equipped with two patented locks with key code 1333, which increases the security of access to the inside of the distribution box.

• Prepared for grounding: There are welded M6 nuts in the inner frame for mounting the vertical support and connecting the protective conductor.

• Rated current: Rated current of 250A allows use in installations with higher power demand.

Remember that to obtain IP44 tightness, it is necessary to additionally seal the frame with mounting silicone during flush mounting. The distribution box is compatible with the SOLID GSX system, which allows for expansion with additional accessories and functional elements.
