Surface-mounted enclosure – a solid solution for distribution boards

This surface-mounted enclosure from the SOLID GSX series is a reliable choice for both professionals and end-users. Made of steel, it provides durable protection for electrical installations indoors. Its grey color (RAL 7035) and solid construction make it perfectly fit the aesthetics of modern installations. The enclosure is designed for wall mounting and offers ample space for equipment – up to 168 modules arranged in 7 rows.

Construction and functionality

The 4XN160 2-7 enclosure is characterized by a high degree of protection IP41, which can be increased to IP42 or IP44 by using an additional gasket (SEAL-G9, available separately). Impact resistance IK10 guarantees resistance to mechanical damage. The enclosure door is equipped with two patented locks with key code 1333, ensuring secure access to the interior. The well-thought-out design also includes cable membrane grommets and hole covers, making it easier to route cables. The rear wall made of galvanized steel allows for convenient wiring of equipment even after mounting the inserts.

Installation and compatibility

The enclosure is easy and intuitive to install – it can be mounted directly to the wall or using dedicated UCH-2 brackets. Internal M6 nuts facilitate the mounting of vertical supports and the connection of the protective conductor. The enclosure is compatible with the SOLID GSX system, allowing it to be equipped with additional elements, such as mounting plates, TH35 rails or covers. This allows it to be adapted to individual needs and requirements of a specific installation. The rated current of the enclosure is 250A, and the number of holes for flanges is 4.
