This durable surface-mounted enclosure from the SOLID GSX series is a reliable solution for protecting and organizing electrical installations. Made of steel and coated with powder paint, it provides lasting protection against mechanical damage and environmental influences. Its gray color (RAL 7035) blends well with most surroundings. The enclosure is designed for wall mounting and offers a large internal space, allowing for the installation of various components.

Functionality and safety

The 4XN160 2-5 enclosure is characterized by an IP41 protection rating, which means protection against the ingress of solid objects larger than 1 mm. The possibility of increasing the tightness by using the SEAL-G9 gasket (available separately) increases the protection to IP42 or IP44. Impact resistance IK10 guarantees resistance to vandalism. A lock in the door provides additional security and protects against unauthorized access to the interior. The enclosure design ensures the continuity of electrical connections of the protective circuit, which is crucial for the safety of the entire installation.

Mounting and equipment

The enclosure can be easily mounted directly to the wall using dedicated holes or using optional UCH-2 brackets. The set includes membrane cable glands and hole plugs, which facilitate cable routing. The internal frame is equipped with M6 nuts, which are used to mount brackets and connect the protective conductor. The enclosure is adapted for mounting mounting inserts with equipment from the SOLID GSX system, which allows for flexible adaptation to individual needs. The door can be mounted on both the left and right side without tools.
