Surface-mounted enclosure – solid protection for your installation

This robust surface-mounted enclosure from the SOLID GSX series is a reliable solution for securing and organizing electrical installations. Made of steel, it provides high mechanical resistance and protection against external factors. Designed for wall mounting, it offers space for up to 96 modules, making it ideal for extended systems.

Construction and functionality

The 4XN160 2-4 enclosure is characterized by a solid construction and thoughtful design. Made of galvanized steel sheet and then powder-coated (RAL 7035), it guarantees durability and corrosion resistance. The IP41 protection rating provides basic protection against the ingress of solid objects larger than 1mm and against accidental contact with live parts. The ability to seal the enclosure (separate seals SEAL-G9 available) increases the protection to IP42 or IP44, increasing its resistance to moisture and dust. The enclosure door is equipped with two patented locks with key code 1333, ensuring secure access to the interior. Standardly installed membrane cable glands EH-TKC-36 facilitate the introduction of cables, and plastic caps protect unused openings. Inside there are heat-welded M6 nuts, which facilitate the mounting of brackets and the connection of the protective conductor.

Application and compatibility

This enclosure finds wide application in residential, office, commercial and industrial buildings. It is ideal for creating surface-mounted distribution boards where a large number of modules and reliable protection of the electrical installation are required. Compatible with the SOLID GSX system, it allows equipping it with additional accessories such as mounting plates, TH35 busbars or covers. Adapted to a rated current of 250A and has 4 holes for flanges which increases its versatility. Impact resistance IK10 guarantees durability even in harsh working conditions.
