Surface-mounted enclosure for distribution boards – robust protection and flexible mounting

This surface-mounted enclosure from the SOLID GSX series is a reliable solution for creating distribution boards in electrical installations. Made of steel, it provides durable protection for components and easy installation. Thanks to the possibility of equipping it with mounting plates and inserts with apparatus, it allows for adaptation to individual project needs. The enclosure is particularly useful in installations where high mechanical resistance and protection against external factors are required.

Construction and user parameters

The 4XN160 3-7 enclosure with dimensions of 800x1100x160 mm has been designed with the convenience of installers and safety of use in mind. Made of galvanized steel sheet, powder-coated in grey (RAL 7035), it is characterized by high resistance to corrosion and mechanical damage (IK10). It has protection class I, which ensures safety in the event of a failure. The degree of protection IP41 (can be increased to IP42 or IP44 with additional seals) protects against the ingress of solid objects larger than 1mm and dripping water.

• Thoughtful mounting: Possibility of direct mounting to the wall using dedicated holes or UCH-2 brackets (available separately).
• Easy access: The enclosure door is equipped with two patent locks with key code 1333, as well as the possibility of left/right transposition for mounting convenience.
• Configuration flexibility: The internal frame has M6 nuts for mounting vertical supports and connecting the protective conductor.
• SOLID GSX system: Compatibility with a wide range of accessories from the SOLID GSX system, such as side brackets, TH35 rails or covers.
• Cable glands: Standardly equipped with membrane cable glands from the top and blanking plugs from the bottom.

Application and compliance with standards

The enclosure is intended primarily for use indoors, but thanks to the possibility of using seals, it can also be used in conditions of increased humidity. It ensures the continuity of electrical protective circuit connections thanks to conductive structural parts. It meets the requirements of the RoHS directive, which guarantees the absence of harmful substances in its composition. The capacity of 252 modules (7 rows of 36 modules) allows for the installation of even extensive electrical installations. The rated current of the enclosure is 250A, and the number of holes for flanges is 6.
