Surface-mounted enclosure for distribution boards – robust protection and flexible mounting

This durable surface-mounted enclosure from the SOLID GSX series is a reliable solution for both professional installers and end-users. It provides safe and organized placement of electrical equipment indoors. Made of steel with a powder-coated finish in RAL 7035 (grey), it guarantees durability and corrosion resistance. The enclosure is designed for wall mounting, offering convenient access to installed devices.

Construction and adaptation possibilities

The 4XN160 2-3 enclosure features three rows, offering space for up to 72 modules. The width of the enclosure is 550 mm, the height is 500 mm, and the depth is 160 mm. The robust construction made of galvanized steel sheet ensures stability and safety. The rear wall is fixed with sheet metal screws, allowing easy wiring of the equipment even after inserting the mounting insert into the enclosure. Thanks to the standard installed membrane cable glands from the top and blanking plugs from the bottom, the enclosure is ready for quick connection. The door is equipped with two patent locks with key code 1333, providing additional security. The ability to reposition the door to the left or right increases mounting flexibility.

Safety and compliance with standards

The enclosure meets the requirements of protection class I and has a degree of protection of IP41 (can be increased to IP42 or IP44 by using a SEAL-G9 gasket – available separately). Impact resistance is IK10, guaranteeing durability in harsh working conditions. The product is RoHS compliant, confirming the absence of harmful materials. The enclosure ensures the continuity of electrical connections of the protective circuit thanks to conductive structural parts and has pre-welded M6 nuts for mounting the vertical bracket and connecting the protective conductor. The rated current of the enclosure is 250A.
