Surface-mounted enclosure for distribution boards – robust protection and flexible mounting

This durable surface-mounted enclosure from the SOLID GSX series is a reliable solution for both professional installers and end-users. It provides safe and organized placement of electrical equipment indoors. The construction made of steel guarantees durability and resistance to mechanical damage (IK10), and the IP41 degree of protection prevents the ingress of solid objects. The tightness can be increased to IP42 or IP44 by using the SEAL-G9 gasket (available separately), allowing the enclosure to be adapted to specific working conditions.

Design and adaptation possibilities

The enclosure with dimensions of 800x500x160 mm offers space for up to 108 modules, making it ideal for building larger distribution boards. The number of flange mounting holes (6 pcs) facilitates the installation of additional components. The rear wall made of galvanized steel sheet is easily removable, making cabling easier even after mounting the inserts. The internal frame contains heat-set M6 nuts, which are used to mount vertical supports and connect the protective conductor – this improvement will be appreciated by installers. The door is equipped with two patent locks with key code 1333, ensuring secure access to the interior. The possibility of transferring the door to the left or right side increases the flexibility of mounting.

The enclosure has been designed with ease of installation and subsequent operation in mind. It is standardly equipped with membrane cable glands and plugs for openings from below. Removable mounting inserts facilitate quick mounting and dismantling of entire sections with equipment and wiring, reducing working time during modernization or repairs. The enclosure is compatible with the SOLID GSX system, allowing for expansion with additional accessories such as side supports, TH35 rails or covers. The use of conductive structural parts ensures the continuity of electrical connections of the protective circuit, which is crucial for the safety of the installation.
