Surface-mounted enclosure for distribution boards – robust protection and flexible mounting

This 4XN160 3-4 surface-mounted enclosure is a reliable solution for creating electrical distribution boards indoors. Made of steel with powder coating, it provides durable protection of the electrical installation against mechanical damage and environmental influences. Its design allows for easy mounting of devices and wiring, and the ability to configure with SOLID GSX system elements increases functionality and adaptation to individual needs.

Construction and user features

The enclosure is characterized by a solid construction and well-thought-out solutions that facilitate both installation and subsequent operation. The robust steel enclosure (with a depth of 160 mm) provides high impact resistance (IK10), and protection class I guarantees safe use. The door equipped with two patented locks (code 1333) secures access to the inside of the enclosure. Cable gland membranes and plugs in the openings facilitate the introduction of cables, and the possibility of mounting the door from both the left and right sides increases installation flexibility. Inside there are heated M6 nuts for mounting brackets and connecting the protective conductor.

Application and compliance with standards

The enclosure is intended for use indoors, where protection of the electrical installation against interference and damage is required. The degree of protection IP41 (can be increased to IP42 or IP44 with additional seals) provides protection against the ingress of solid objects larger than 1 mm and against dripping water. The enclosure is compliant with the RoHS directive, confirming the absence of harmful substances in its production. Thanks to the large internal space (144 modules) and the possibility of mounting mounting plates and inserts, the enclosure is ideal for building distribution boards of various configurations. Width 800 mm and height 650 mm allow for convenient arrangement of distribution devices.
