This empty flush-mounted distribution box from the SOLID GSX series is a reliable element of any electrical installation. Made of steel, it provides durable protection and safe placement of equipment. The housing with dimensions of 860x1160x160 mm offers space for as many as 252 modules, allowing you to create an extensive and functional system.

Construction and mounting – well-thought-out solutions for professionals

The distribution box has been designed with easy installation and subsequent operation in mind. It has holes for mounting in the recess, and the frame adjustment range of approx. 15 mm allows compensation for inaccuracies during cassette embedding. Mounting is done using expansion bolts and mounting foam, which guarantees stability and reliable operation. Removable mounting inserts facilitate the installation and removal of equipment, and special hinges allow for trouble-free mounting of the door without tools – with the possibility of changing the opening direction (left/right). The cassette has knockouts for cutting holes for wires and cables, making it easier to run the installation.

Safety and compliance with standards

The housing meets the requirements of protection class I and has a protection degree of IP42 (can be increased to IP44 with the use of a gasket), protecting against access to hazardous parts and preventing the ingress of solid objects. Impact resistance IK10 provides additional safety in harsh working conditions. The housing design ensures the continuity of electrical connections of the protective circuit, and the welded M6 nuts in the inner frame are used to mount the vertical support and connect the protective conductor. The product is RoHS compliant, confirming its compliance with requirements regarding the restriction of hazardous substances. The rated current of the housing is 250A.
