Characteristics and application

The NH00 fuse link with gG characteristic (general purpose) provides comprehensive protection for wires and devices. The time-delay characteristic (gG) means that the fuse link reacts with a delay to short-term current surges, which is particularly important when starting devices with motors – allowing them to start freely without unnecessarily disconnecting the circuit. This minimizes the risk of false alarms and downtime in the installation.

Construction and product features

The fuse link is made of high-quality materials, which translates into its durability and reliability. The body made of steatite provides thermal stability, and the silver-plated brass knife contacts guarantee good electrical contact and minimize power losses. The interior filled with quartz sand of a special granulation increases the short-circuit switching capacity to 120 kA, providing effective protection against serious failures. Additionally, the combined (double) indicator facilitates quick identification of a blown fuse – both through the red eye in the central part of the ceramic body and the springy plate on the top cover.
