NH1C gG knife-type fuse link with a rated current of 32A and a voltage of 500V AC, is characterized by a time-delay gG characteristic. This means that it allows for short-term exceeding of the rated current without disconnecting, which is particularly important when starting devices with electric motors or other loads with high inrush current. Using a fuse link with a gG characteristic minimizes the risk of unnecessary circuit tripping during normal operation.

Construction and operation indicators

The body of the fuse link is made of durable steatite, providing thermal stability and resistance to mechanical damage. The knife contacts made of silver-plated brass guarantee good electrical contact and minimize power losses. It is equipped with a double operation indicator - a red eye on the ceramic body and a springy plate on the top cover - which facilitates quick identification of a blown fuse both in the base and in the fuse disconnector. Additionally, the top indicator allows cooperation with NVS 5 microswitch for remote signaling of operation. The short-circuit breaking capacity is as high as 120kA, which proves the high effectiveness of protection.
