NH00 gG 32A/500V fuse – reliable installation protection
The NH00 gG 32A/500V fuse is an element used to protect electrical installations from the effects of overloads and short circuits. Designed for industrial applications, it meets the requirements of PN-93/E-06160 (gF), PN-IEC-269 and VDE 0636 standards. Its construction and parameters ensure effective protection of wires and devices.
Construction and characteristic features
The fuse is made of high-quality materials – a steatite (thermally stable material) body, silver-plated brass knife contacts and an aluminum cover, which guarantees corrosion resistance and long-term reliability. The inside of the fuse is filled with quartz sand of a special granulation, providing a high short-circuit breaking capacity (120 kA) and stable electrical parameters. The KOMBI version, equipped with a dual tripping indicator – a red eye on the ceramic body and a springy plate on the cover – facilitates quick identification of a blown fuse, both in bases and in fuse disconnectors. Additionally, the indicator on the top cover enables cooperation with the NVS 5 microswitch for remote tripping signaling.
Application and parameters
The NH00 gG 32A/500V fuse is primarily used in industrial installations where protection against overloads and short circuits is required. The gG characteristic (general purpose) makes it suitable for protecting wires. The rated current of 32A at 500V AC provides adequate protection for a wide range of loads. The total Joule integral of switching is 5300 A²s, and the pre-arcing 1340 A²s. Power losses are 3.4 W. The "double" (combined) tripping indicator provides reliable information about the blown fuse.
Mounting and additional accessories
Insulated handles (NH…/I…) can be used to mount NH fuses, providing additional safety when working under voltage, as well as R 00-3 or GPSHE/AI insulating handles. Versions with a striker (NH.../K…) are also available, designed for use with HVL, KVL fuse disconnectors equipped with microswitches for remote tripping signaling.
