Reliable installation protection with NH fuse links
NH2C gG 32A/500V fuse link is an element used to protect electrical installations against the effects of short circuits and overloads. Manufactured in accordance with PN-93/E-06160 (gF), PN-IEC-269 and VDE 0636 standards, it provides effective protection in both industrial applications and public buildings. Its construction based on high-quality materials guarantees reliable operation and long service life.
Construction and characteristic features
The NH2C gG 32A/500V knife fuse link is characterized by a solid construction. The body is made of steatite – a material with high thermal stability, which translates to resistance to overheating and damage. The silver-plated brass knife contacts ensure excellent electrical conductivity and minimize the risk of corrosion. Aluminum covers provide additional protection against external factors. The fuse link is filled with quartz sand of a special granulation, which affects its high short-circuit breaking capacity – up to 120kA.
- Double tripping indicator: A red eye in the central part of the ceramic body and a springy plate on the top cover allow for quick and easy identification of a blown fuse, which greatly facilitates diagnostics and repair of the installation.
- Cooperation with remote signaling: The indicator in the top cover allows connection to a NVS 5 microswitch, which enables remote signaling of the fuse link operation – an important solution in monitoring and automation systems.
- Silver-plated contacts: Ensure low transition resistance and minimize the risk of hot spot formation.
- Made in the EU: Guarantee of high quality workmanship and compliance with European safety standards.
Application and parameters
The NH2C gG 32A/500V fuse link is used wherever reliable protection against overloads and short circuits is required in alternating current circuits with a voltage of up to 500V. The gG (general purpose) characteristic makes it suitable for protecting cables and equipment with various types of load. The rated current of 32A allows it to be used in circuits with medium power. The total Joule integral of switching is 6700 A²s, and the pre-arcing 800 A²s, which proves its ability to withstand high short-circuit energies. The tripping indicator is combined (double).
