The NH000 gG 35A/500V fuse link is a component used to protect electrical installations from the effects of short circuits and overloads. It is a proven component whose parameters meet the requirements of PN-93/E-06160 (gF), PN-IEC-269 and VDE 0636 standards. Designed to operate with alternating current (AC), this fuse link is characterized by a time-delay characteristic, which means it allows for short-term exceeding of the rated current without disconnecting the circuit – an ideal solution for devices with motors or other elements generating inrush currents during start-up.

Construction and application

The NH000 fuse link is made of high-quality steatite, which provides thermal stability and resistance to damage. The knife contacts made of silver-plated brass guarantee good electrical contact and minimize power losses. Thanks to the use of a double operating indicator – a red eye in the central part of the ceramic body and a springy plate on the top cover – it is easy and quick to determine whether the fuse link has blown, both in the fuse base and in the disconnector. This type of fuse link, designated as KOMBI, provides very good visibility of the operating status.

The rated values of this fuse link are 35A current at 500V AC. The rated short-circuit switching capacity is as high as 120kA, which proves its high effectiveness in emergency situations. The total Joule integral of switching is 14200 A²s, and the pre-arcing 2500 A²s – these parameters determine the amount of energy that the fuse link can absorb during the process of disconnecting a short circuit.
