Its construction is based on a steatite body – a material characterized by thermal stability. Silver-plated brass knife contacts ensure good electrical contact, and aluminum covers protect against corrosion. The inside of the fuse link is filled with quartz sand of a special granulation, which affects the high short-circuit breaking capacity (up to 120 kA) and stable operating parameters.

Dual operation indicator – convenience and safety

A key feature of this fuse link is the dual operation indicator – a combination of a red eye located in the central part of the ceramic body and a springy plate on the top cover. This solution ensures easy and quick visual identification of a blown fuse, both in fuse bases and in disconnectors. Additionally, the indicator on the top cover allows cooperation with the NVS 5 microswitch for remote tripping signaling.
